What If Someone Says Ive Broken Every One Of The Ten Commandments?

Question:

"What if someone says, ĎIíve broken every one of the Ten Commandmentsí?"

Answer:

Do not take this statement to mean that the person has seen the gravity of his sinful state before God. He may say something like, "Iím a really bad person!" It is often used as a way of shrugging off conviction. Say to him, "Well letís take the time to go through them one by one and see if you have." As he is confronted with the righteous standard of Godís Moral Law, pray that the Holy Spirit brings conviction of sin.
